In addition to not promoting your business through your Facebook updates, you should also avoid having the same pictures on your Facebook page as you post to other social media. They post a picture of themselves with their brand of coffee on their Facebook page, and then go back and repost that same picture on their other social media pages. This is a very bad marketing strategy. You want to be unique so that people take notice when they see your pictures on a different site than where you posted them.

If you have plenty of articles written about your business, then you are giving visitors plenty of reasons to visit. This is what is called targeted traffic. When someone reads one of your articles and likes what they read, they might be more inclined to click on your link and come to your website or contact you via email to find out more.

When you post new information on your Facebook page, be sure to tag it with the keyword phrase you used in your article. That will help people find the information they are looking for as they try to look for what they are searching for online. It also gives you a chance to link your information back to your other websites. For instance, if you run an ecommerce website, you can include your ecommerce links within your information updates. That will help potential customers who visit your other sites to buy the products they are interested in find out how to buy those products online through you.

Your information updates will become more effective as you update them regularly. You want to create content that interests readers and keeps them coming back to see what is new and changing within your business. You also want to make sure that you are not flooding the newsfeed with posts. People will lose interest as news begins to become old and repetitive.
